Ziger/Snead Architects, Baltimore Design School Receive Award for Excellence in Design

Ziger/Snead, a Baltimore-based small business, announces that its design for the Baltimore Design School has been recognized with the highest award of design excellence from the American Institute of Architects’ Maryland chapter.

Key to this critique is the way in which the spirit of the original building is very present in its current life, the strong presence of graphic design, and the finesse with which the designers worked within a seemingly limited budget for maximum results.”

The school’s design has been recognized by a number of national and local awards programs, including the national American Institute of Architects’ Committee on Architecture for Education, Inform Magazine, the Council of Educational Facility Planners International, Architizer, and the Urban Land Institute.
