Through Miharu’s experience working on large institutional buildings as well as smaller interventions, she has acquired the technical knowledge to create a safe and comfortable building that supports the conceptual idea. Thoughtfully crafted and clearly identified, her conceptual approach is derived from the functional needs of the users, the impact of the building presence in its context and community, as well as the understanding of the temporary and permanent nature of the built environment. Well organized, analytical, and thoughtful, she ensures communication stays open within the design team for successful integration of concept, vision, and function in the development of the design documentation. Miharu is very experienced overseeing construction administration, bringing the knowledge and relationships from the design process through construction. With integrity and compassion, she ensures that the initial intent is carried through to a successful completion of a project.
