Ziger|Snead was the design consultant, and worked with Architect Hord Coplan Macht, on the design of a $72 million upscale residential and retail development in Baltimore's historic waterfront neighborhood of Fells Point. The team collaborated to design the building's five-story massing in a manner that is appropriate within the context of the neighborhood.

The mixed-use project includes 281 apartments on top of 4,500 square feet of retail space and nearly 500 parking spaces. The development filled a vacant site that overlooks the Inner Harbor as well as the Fells Point peninsula.

Union Wharf was designed to earn LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
